The research staff member of the Department of Mathematical Modeling of Systems and Processes, Vladimir M. Chigvintsev took the 1st place in the competition of young scientists presenting his report “Mathematical model of the infectious process regulation with consideration of violations of the synthetic function of the immune and neuroendocrine systems”. The competition was held within the All-Russian conference of young scientists with international participation “Mathematics and interdisciplinary researches – 2017”, May 15 – 17, 2017, Perm city.

The thesis of Nikolenko V.V. “Clinical-epidemiological characteristics of pneumococcal infection in HIV-positive patients and medical workers, risk-oriented prevention technologies” is placed in the section "Dissertational council".
On the 14th of March 2017 the thesis on competition of a scientific degree of candidate of medical sciences in specialty "14.02.01 - Hygiene" has been successfully defended by the head of the department for health risk analysis - Dmitry M. Shlyapnikov.

The second number of “Health risk analysis” journal was issued for 2016. The journal is almost completely devoted to the issues of healthy lifestyle and risks that are formed due to the use of alcoholic beverages, smoking and low physical activity of certain groups of citizens.

From 3-7th October 2016 the All-Russian scientific and practical conference of young scientists and Rospotrebnadzor specialists “Fundamental and applied aspects of population health risk” will be held. The conference will be held in the FBSI “Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies”. An information letter with the detailed description is attached.
Our Research Laboratory Center is recognized as one of the best in the competition in assessing the accuracy of test results in Russia among 464 laboratories.
The assay was supervised by analytical center of ROSSA CJSC, Moscow. The competition was held among Russian laboratories that had to determine more than 10 indicators. The RLC of the Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologieswas included in the top five.
