Senior Researcher of the Systems and Processes Mathematical Modeling Department Marat Kamaltdinov participated with the in-person presentation at the 6th Eurosummer School on Biorheology & Symposium on Micro and Nano Mechanics and Mechanobiology of Cells, Tissues and Systems (BIORHEO 2018) in Varna (Bulgaria), which was held from August 28 to September 2, 2018. The report is devoted to multiphase flow mathematical modeling in an antroduodenum taking into account digestive enzymes and regulatory processes.
Genetic studies of the food products quality of Russian and imported origin for the presence of genetically modified components are conducted. The features of the genetic modification of the analyzed food products (sausages, baby canned meat) have been established. A number of promoter, terminator and reporter genes, indicating the genetic modifications made, have been identified and recommended for use as marker genes for food safety control on the criterion of GMO content.
From the 5th to 10th of August, 2018 the second visit of the scientists of the Federal service on customers’ rights protection and human well-being surveillance in Hanoi, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was held. On June 8 and 9, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Public Health in Russia: Institutional Problems and Individual Risks" was held in St. Petersburg. The Head of Social Risk Analysis Laboratory of the Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies N.A. Lebedeva-Nesevrya participated in the conference as a moderator of the section "Youth health: the social context and behavioral risk factors" and made a plenary report "Differences in health indicators of working men and women in Russia."
In the framework of the implementation of the Orders of the Government of the Russian Federation from 19.08.2017 No. 1789-r on providing scientific-methodological and logistical support to The Socialist Republic of Vietnam on combating the threats of infectious diseases and the risks associated with hazardous chemicals, from the 4th till the 7th of June 2018 the scientific personnel of the system of the Federal service for supervision in the sphere of consumer rights protection and human welfare visited Hanoi, The Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

V., the research associate of FSCI for Medical and Preventive Public Health Risk Management Technologies, has become the first degree laureate of the International Competition «The Youth in the Science: New Arguments», which was carried out from the 30th of March till 16th of April, 2018 in Lipetsk. The winner also was awarded in the nomination "For the Best Design of Scientific Work".
