Participation in the 24th Annual Conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology

Experts from the Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies participated in the 24th Annual Conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology - ISEE.

The results on one of the Center’s research directions were given in the paper “Derivation of Blood Vanadium Benchmark Concentration Using Limiting Hazard Factor” (authors: Professor Nina V. Zaitseva, PhD, DSc, Fellow of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Pavel Z. Shur, DSc, N.G. Atiskova, V.M. Chigvintsev, Ye.V. Markova), which was presented by Head of Health Risk Analysis Department P.Z. Shur, DSc, during the “Outdoor Air Pollution and Children’s Health” session.

The Annual Conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology took place in Columbia, South Carolina, on August 26-30th 2012. More than 700 leading experts in epidemiology attended the conference.
