Method of evaluating effect of short-term increase of minor concentrations of pollutants in atmospheric air on state of health of population
FIELD: ecology, medicine.
SUBSTANCE: given method is characterized by use of data base on quality of atmospheric air during investigation time period in zone of living of population and by use of data base on number of those having taken urgent medical advice during same time period with highlighting of ecology-dependent pathology. Statistically significant dependence between number of applications for urgent medical advice as regards ecologydependent pathology and daily gradient of concentrations of pollutants in atmospheric air is established, background level of applications is found, critical value per each pollutant is determined in relation to it. Increase in number of people applied for urgent medical advice characterizing change for worse of health of population is predicted by achievement of this critical value per each pollutant. Method secures authenticity of evaluation of effect of short-term increase of minor concentrations of pollutants within limits of maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants in atmospheric air on state of health of population by number of applications for urgent medical advice.
EFFECT: improved authenticity of method.
