Summary of the results of activities of the FBSI “Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies” in 2020

The results of scientific research in 2020 develop the fundamental bases of hygienic science in terms of the impact of environmental factors on human health and allow the use of new scientific data to address a wide range of applied problems. The data provide further steps to develop methods for predicting and preventing human health disorders, increasing the period of labor activity and the duration of healthy life in general, creating a safe and comfortable living environment.

In 2020, the FBSI “FSC for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies” performed 45 research works, including 37 approved in accordance with the state task; 6 research works of a fundamental nature and 39 - of applied nature.

Within the framework of R&D projects of normative and methodological documents were prepared: SR “Sanitary and epidemiological requirements in the sphere of providing services to the population" (co-executor), HS "Hygienic standards of habitat factors", section "Atmospheric air of urban and rural settlements"; MR "Procedure for detection and identification of potentially dangerous undeclared and unintentionally present chemical substances in food products"; MR "Procedure for substantiation of indicator values of violation of mandatory sanitary requirements in the sphere of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological welfare of population"; MR "Assessment of the public health risk from exposure to traffic noise”; МR "Assessment of sufficiency and effectiveness of planned measures to reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air to mitigate risks and harm to public health"; МR "Assessment of occupational health risks to workers under conditions of noise above 80 dBA"; MG "Measurement of mass concentrations of monophthalates (monomethyl phthalate, monoethyl phthalate, monobutyl phthalate, mono(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate) in urine by high performance liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry".

Criteria and classification of working conditions"; as well as 12 information and methodological letters.

The MG “Assessment of sufficiency and effectiveness of the planned measures to reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air to mitigate risks and harm to public health” are approved.

During 2020 on the basis of scientific results obtained by "FSC for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies", 340 scientific publications indexed in the Russian and international scientific citation systems were prepared. 58 articles were published in scientific journals cited in WoSc and 71 articles were published in Scopus.

According to the results of 2020, 51 applications for inventions, industrial designs, computer programs and databases were filed with Rospatent and 41 certificates of protection on the previously submitted applications were received during the year.

Two conferences were held online in 2020: X All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Health Risk Analysis 2020", May 13-15, 2020 and All-Russian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference of young scientists and specialists of Rospotrebnadzor "Fundamental and applied aspects of public health risk analysis", October 5-9, 2020. Four issues of the journal "Health Risk Analysis" were published in 2020, 81 articles were published.

The results of research of the Scientific Center are applies and can be used in the future by the executive authorities of the Russian Federation at all levels in solving problems of achieving the target indicators of national projects "Ecology" and "Demography" (Federal projects "Clean Air", "Clean Water", "Improving Public Health" in part "Creating a system of motivating citizens to a healthy lifestyle, including healthy eating and giving up bad habits", etc.); laboratory and test results of the research of the Center are used and can be used in the future.); laboratory and testing centers, agencies and organizations of Rospotrebnadzor in the conduct of Supervisory activities; authorities of the Russian Federation, regional and local authorities to inform citizens and businesses about the threats and dangers to public health and workers.
