Clinical examination of the population of Usolye-Sibirskoye in Irkutsk region

In the period from December 7 to December 12, 2020 Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies carried out a clinical examination of 400 residents of the city of Usolye-Sibirskoye. An in-depth examination, included a clinical and functional study, sampling of biological media (blood, urine, buccal epithelium, etc.) for biochemical, general clinical, immunological, immunogenetic, cytogenetic, chemical and analytical research. Also a sociological study was carried out aimed at identifying changes in health status associated with exposure to risk factors.

The list and scope of studies was formed taking into account the critical organs and systems and the etiopathogenesis of functional health disorders associated with exposure to risk factors: the respiratory system, the immune system, the autonomic and central nervous system, the musculoskeletal system, the blood system and hematopoietic organs, liver and bile ducts, kidneys, cardiovascular system, endocrine system (thyroid gland), developmental processes, oxidative-antioxidant processes.

Next, an analytical study of samples of the selected biological material will be performed, and the results of instrumental and functional studies will be deciphered. Individual recommendations for the examined patients will be formed. Within the framework of the general research, mathematical modeling of cause-and-effect relationships in the system “environmental risk factors to health - population health” will be performed.

Next year, recommendations will be developed to the Program of compensatory medical and preventive measures, differentiated according to the criteria for harm to the health of persons from the most sensitive groups of the city's population.

The work is carried out in accordance with the "Action Plan of the Road Map" for the Prevention and Elimination of Environmental Pollution in the Urban District of Usolye-Sibirskoye, Irkutsk Region resulted f economic activities related to the chemical production "(Order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated October 29, 2020 No. 2819-p).
