Participation in MOSCOW URBAN FORUM, July 4-5, Moscow
From July 4 to 5, an international congress Urban Health was held in Moscow, as part of the annual MOSCOW URBAN FORUM, where urban development focused on public health issues was discussed. Deputy Director for Research work I.V. May participated as a speaker in two panel discussions of the congress: “Lifestyle diseases as a new challenge. How can megapolises cope with diseases of the 21st century? ”and “Pollution factors. Practices to reduce environmental risks”. The center’s developments in terms of scientific and methodological support for risk communication issues, diagnosis and prevention of diseases associated with urban pollution were presented.
