A doctoral dissertation defended by Luzhetskiy K.P.

On November 28, 2017 at the meeting of the Dissertation Council D. 999.128.02, at the Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies, Konstantin P. Luzhetsky successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences (specialty 14.02.01 -“Hygiene”).

The dissertation topic is “Hygienic basis of preventing system of child endocrine diseases associated with exposure to chemical environmental factors in residential areas”, and the work was conducted at the Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies.

The thesis contains the solution to the important problem of reducing the endocrine diseases associated with environmental factors in the residential areas by improving the system of hygienic and medico-prophylactic measures, including the introduction of a risk-oriented model of control and surveillance activities, the development of socio-hygienic monitoring and application of personalized preventive technologies.
