The VII Nevsky International Ecological Congress «Environmental Safety Strategies: Implementation Tools»

The VII Nevsky International Ecological Congress «Environmental Safety Strategies: Implementation Tools» took place in St. Petersburg, on 28-29 of May 2015.

The report «Health risk assessment as a modern security mechanism of the human environment» presented by the head of the Federal service on customers' rights protection and human well-being surveillance professor Anna. Y. Popova became one of the key reports oftheplenarymeeting.

In accordance with the Congress program a roundtable discussion concerning “the strategy of the international ecological safety of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025 and the modern mechanisms of ecological safety on the territory of the Russian Federationhasbeenconducted.

Such valuable and significant issues as improving of national legislation in the field of environmental safety and the modern mechanisms of ecological safety of the population of industrial areas have been presented by the senior scientist of the Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies Dmitry N.Koshurnikov and the senior scientist Sergey Y. Zagorodnov. The proposals contained in the reports were included to the final resolution of the Congress.
