The Social and Hygiene Monitoring Laboratory

Issues, connected with the improvement of scientific and methodical foundations of social and hygiene monitoring, including:

• data collection, storage, processing and dissemination for social and hygiene monitoring,
• social and hygiene monitoring algorithms and methods,
• the selection of indicators, points, frequency, time and conditions of environmental measurements within the social and hygiene monitoring system,
• the identification of cause-and-effect relationships between human health and the impact of environmental factors,
• processing and providing social and hygiene monitoring data to decision makers,
• medical and preventive, as well as sanitary and hygiene measures, aimed at the determination of adverse environmental impacts on humans and at epidemiological well-being of the population, which is ensured by the Federal Service on Customers’ Rights Protection and Human Well-Being Surveillance, federal, regional and local executive authorities, and
• in addition, one of the priority research directions is the development of advanced technologies, including geographic information systems and methods for mathematical and situational modeling and forecasting processes, which influence human health, and their implementation into sanitary and hygiene analysis.
