Report on the Basic and Applied Aspects of Human Health Risk Analysis Conference
On 16-18 May 2012, the all-Russian research to practice conference “Basic and Applied Aspects of Human Health Risk Analysis”, organized by the Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies, and an annual meeting of the Young Researchers Council and the professionals of the Federal Service on Customer Protection and Human Well-being took place.
128 experts, researchers and post-graduate students from 33 Russian regions (Moscow, the Moscow Region, Tula, Lipetsk, Kaluga, Saint Petersburg, the Murmansk Region, Pskov, Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, the Chuvash Republic, The Republic of Mordovia, the Samara Region, Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Perm, Penza, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Yugra, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk) and the Republic of Kazakhstan attended the conference. Among the participants were representatives of the Federal Service institutions, the Research Institute of Occupational Medicine of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, academies and universities, federal and municipal healthcare institutions and from other organizations.
In total, 93 papers were presented at the conference, i.e. 6 plenary session presentations, 70 oral presentations at three sessions within the Young Researcher Award competition and 17 poster presentations.
