The results of the Russian-Vietnamese cooperation in the field of health risk assessment in 2018-2019

The results of together work of the National Institute of Food Control (NIFC) and the Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies were summed up and the draft roadmap for the next 3-year period was discussed at the meeting on December 23-24, 2019 in Hanoi.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the pace of the work aimed at implementing the objectives of the joint project in the field of assessing the health risks associated with nutrition, including training of Vietnamese specialists, as well as scientific research with the participation of the Russian specialists. A report on the research work “HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENT. CASE STUDY: NITROZAMINES’ CONTENT IN BABY FOOD” was submitted for approval.

The roadmap for the Russian-Vietnamese cooperation was implemented in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 08.19. 2917 No. 1789-R on the provision of scientific, methodological and material and technical support to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to counter the threats of infectious diseases and the risks associated with hazardous chemicals.
