Research Lines:

Our professionals investigate the features of human immune response to various impacts of chemical, physical and biological environmental factors, using advanced laboratory assays which allow us to identify changes in humoral and cellular immunity as well as genetic disorders.

  • Immunogenetic testing using qualitative and quantitative PCR, which is based on amplification reaction and the real time detection of its products – SNP (CFX96 thermal cycler, Bio-Rad, USA).
  • Cell technologies based on flow cytofluorometry – lymphocyte phenotyping (FACSCalibur flow cytometer, Beckton Dickinson, USA).
  • Allergy diagnostics – determining specific IgE against occupational allergens (chromium, nickel, manganese, formaldehyde), specific IgE against benzo(a)pyrene, vanadium, strontium, MELISA.
  • Neuroendocrine regulation of immunity (IL1-beta, IL-4, IL -8, IL -10, IFN-γ, TNF-α, p53, bcl2, FOXp3, ACTH, serotonin, leukotrienes and others).
